COMPASSION FUND

Restoring Hope’s Compassion Fund partners with Ellipsis to provide youth and their families gift cards to places like Walmart, Target, gas stations and grocery stores.

About our Program

The Compassion Fund is the newest outreach program at Restoring Hope. Because of our relationships with Ellipsis, it became evident that while the basic needs of many of the youth were being met, they often longed for something more.

Perhaps a teenager longs for a basketball so he can shoot hoops at the park after school. Maybe a middle schooler longs for a certain shade of nail polish to be able to fit in with her peer group, which could give her the confidence she needs to jump start her journey of self-worth. Possibly gas money is needed to ensure a juvenile (or parent!) can make it to work so they do not lose their job, which prevents them from being labeled as “unreliable,” and allows them to maintain their hardworking reputation for future job reference needs.

Restoring Hope’s Compassion Fund supports Ellipsis by providing gift cards to places like Walmart, Target, gas stations and grocery stores.
