Compassion Fund
Restoring Hope's Compassion Fund partners with Ellipsis to provide youth and their families gift cards to places like Walmart, Target, gas stations, and grocery stores.
Meeting the needs books can't
The Compassion Fund is the newest outreach program at Restoring Hope. Because of our relationship with Ellipsis, it became clear that while the basic needs of many youth were being met, they often longed for something more.
Maybe a teenager wants a basketball so he can shoot hoops at the park after school. Maybe a middle schooler wants a certain shade of nail polish to fit in with her peer group — giving her the confidence to start her own journey of self-worth. Maybe gas money is needed so a juvenile, or a parent, can make it to work and keep their job, protecting a hard-earned reputation for future references.
Restoring Hope's Compassion Fund supports Ellipsis by providing gift cards to places like Walmart, Target, gas stations, and grocery stores — helping normalize everyday conditions for youth and helping families access behavioral health support and counseling services.
"More smiling, less worrying. More compassion, less judgment. More blessed, less stressed. More love, less hate."
